The coach of the national senior women’s basketball team had garnered a lot of experience and kudos from working out players individually in that sport, most notably Rachael Vanderwal from his dominant UL Huskies team of the early 2010s; she’d retire as an Olympian, Commonwealth silver medallist and the third-most capped Great Britain international ever.
