There won’t be a fourth consecutive Clare-Kerry Munster SFC final in 2026 after the counties were paired to meet each other in Clare at the semi-final stage on Thursday evening.

Tailteann Cup runners-up Limerick and Cork face off in a quarter-final as was the case this past season. However, the game will be played in Cork and the victors will meet Waterford or Tipperary in the other semi-final.

Leinster winners Louth are on the same side of the draw as Dublin and they will meet in a semi-final should they come through their respective semi-finals against Wexford and Carlow/Wicklow.

On the other side, Kildare and Meath will be fancied to face off in a semi-final. Brian Flanagan’s side face Offaly or Laois in the last-eight game while All-Ireland semi-finalists and provincial runners-up Meath await the victors of Westmeath and Longford.

In Connacht, Roscommon and Mayo looked destined to meet in a semi-final in Castlebar providing they come through their trips to New York and London. Galway meet Sligo or Leitrim in the other last-four fixture.

In an appetising Ulster preliminary round, Armagh and Tyrone face off in Box-IT Athletic Grounds with the winners meeting Fermanagh in the quarter-finals.

Anglo-Celt Cup holders Donegal take on Down in their quarter-final while Derry entertain Antrim and Monaghan host Cavan in a derby.
