Jack Coyne appointed captain of the Mayo senior football team

Ryan O'Donoghue and Darren McHale have been named as vice-captains.

PwC All-Star nominee Ballyhanuis' Jack Coyne has been appointed captain for the Mayo senior football team for the upcoming season taking the reins from Castlebar's Paddy Durcan.

Coyne becomes the latest Ballyhanuis clubman to lead the county team following in the footsteps of four time All-Star Keith Higgins who was named captain in 2021.
