Carlow are on the lookout for a new senior hurling manager following Tom Mullally’s decision to step down after five seasons in charge. A week out from collective training resuming, Kilkenny native Mullally was expected to remain in charge for 2026 having just missed out on the Joe McDonagh Cup final this past season.

However, the current Naas manager informed Carlow players and the county board of his decision to leave on Friday.
