At the Ballygunner-Na Piarsaigh Munster quarter-final two weeks ago, a handful of the Sarsfields players were in the Gaelic Grounds watching on and taking mental notes of the winners to prepare for Sunday’s Munster semi-final, fully aware of how difficult that task would be against whichever high-calibre team came through.
