1.02pm Right, so I've made my way past all the jazz and I'm in position down the Páirc. It's chilly, and a little drizzly. Who will be celebrating out on the town later this evening? Buttevant will be anyway, surely. Here is what their captain has had to say after their historic victory yesterday.

11.20am Welcome everyone to our liveblog on the biggest day of football on the local Cork GAA calendar.

My name is Andrew Horgan, and I will be talking you all through the best of the action from what promises to be an exciting double header at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

First up is the battle between Cill na Martra and Knocknagree in the McCarthy Insurance Group Senior A Football Championship final, throw-in is at 1.30pm.

Then it’s the main event, and it hardly gets any bigger than Nemo Rangers taking on St Finbarr’s for the Andy Scannell Cup in the McCarthy Insurance Group Premier Senior Football Championship final.

Throw-in for that decider is at 3.30pm but I will be in my seat in the press box down the Páirc to bring you regular updates from 1pm on those two heavyweight clashes, as well as some updates from the other big GAA games taking place around the country today.

But until then, feel free to read and enjoy the best of the preview pieces from our website which you can find below.

Kieran Shannon: Jimmy Barry-Murphy still sprinkling some football magic.

Conor Horgan is hoping the chemistry is right for another perfect day against Barrs.

Watch Barr's star Ian Maguire on narrow margins, new rules and having 'a crack off' another county final.
