- Jersey pull added to prescribed list of cynical offences in denying a goalscoring opportunity that will result in a black card and a penalty kick.

The entire suite involving the denial of a goalscoring opportunity will apply to club level in the new year too;

- Kick-outs will have to clear the 20-metre line as well as the 40m arc;

- A two-point attempt that is touched over the bar by the opposing team will be worth two points;

- A linesman can bring a referee’s attention to infringements at any time and not just in breaks in play;

- A free from the halfway line if either the sideline or 45m line has been breached before a ball is throw in.
