Clare GAA has confirmed that their head of operations Deirdre Murphy will depart her role following the county convention on December 16th. Murphy, a former Clare camogie player and founding member of the Women's GPA, had been appointed in September 2022. She is set to take up a role in the private sector.

A recruitment process will now begin with the Banner hopeful of having a successor in place by early 2026.
