When Leitrim had to forfeit their Division 3 league game against Fermanagh in March over player unavailability, the only positive anybody took out of that whole debacle was the Jones brothers, and how it prevented them having to go up against each other on that afternoon.

Garvan Jones, one of Fermanagh’s best players, was set to face his brother Ryan, who was part of the Leitrim management as a selector with Steven Poacher.
