There was a bizarre finish to Kerry's Senior Football Leagues this weekend as neither of the top two sides in Division 1 managed to win their final encounters.

However, despite Kerins O’Rahillys' draw with Glenbeigh/Glencar on Sunday lunchtime, they could not get the win they needed to force a playoff with Tralee rivals Austin Stacks, who won the Division 1 title for the first time since 2019 even though they lost to Laune Rangers.
