There are games, for a variety of different reasons, that stay resident with you over the years. Games that are unaffected and undiminished by the passing of time.
For me, there’s Kenny Dalglish’s last goal in red, against Chelsea, to win Liverpool the 1986 League as player-manager. There’s the Cork-Meath All-Ireland football final drawn and replayed fixtures of 1988. And then there’s the 2013 All-Ireland hurling semi-final.
