Seoirse Bulfin has stepped down as Westmeath hurling manager after just a season in charge. The Limerick man replaced Joe Fortune last summer.

Westmeath suffered relegation from Division 1B earlier this year and only avoided the drop from the Joe McDonagh Cup with victory over Kerry in the final round of the competition.
