Neil Ewing: Paying managers in the GAA is stupidity accepted as normality

Former Sligo footballer Neil Ewing has had vary experiences with "the Outside Manager".
Given the values of the GAA, the solution to payments being made to managers is simple: People can only manage their own club or county.

ANY payments that are made to GAA managers are of course alleged. I do not have tangible proof these payments happen.

That said, on any occasion I have declined an offer to be involved with an outside team for a season, they have always called back to see if a higher payment would change my mind.
