There could have been four red cards in Parnell Park on Sunday. That none were shown is not the greatest reflection on referee Colm Lyons.

The powers-that-be have made a point of trying to clamp down on dangerous and head-high challenges but there was not much of it going on in the Dublin-Galway game, effectively a Leinster semi-final.
