All-Ireland U23A Camogie Championship: Cork 2-16 Kilkenny 0-8 

A comfortable 14-point victory for Cork in round 1 of the All-Ireland U23A camogie championship in Páirc Uí Rinn on Saturday, the result built on the foundations of a very solid defence plus the input from senior panelists Meadhbh Ring (replaced at half-time due to injury), Ava Fitzgerald, Orlaith Mullins and Millie Condon while sharp-shooting forward Amy Sheppard accounted for 2-6 - contributing a goal in either half.
