For Louth, the possibility of a first title since 1957 is there to be grasped.

Ger Brennan said it with a straight face. The Louth manager claimed to have no preference as to who his side would face in this year’s Leinster decider having scraped through their semi-final against Kildare in Tullamore.

Maybe he meant it.
