Kerry manager Jack O’Connor has become the latest GAA figure to criticise the tarnished integrity of the National Football League owing to the one-week turnaround to the beginning of championship.

Four counties in League final action this Saturday and Sunday — Mayo, Roscommon, Limerick, and Wexford — commence their provincial championship campaigns the following weekend, with O’Connor calling for a proper gap to exist between the two competitions.
