A League debut for Joshua Ryan and a first start of 2025 for Cathal Mannion are among five changes to the Galway team for this evening’s deciding League fixture against Cork.

Manager Micheál Donoghue has seen fit to change one-third of the team that fell so tamely to Limerick a fortnight ago. The changes include Éanna Murphy coming back into goals for the first time since the Round 1 thumping by Tipp, a League debut for corner-back Joshua Ryan, son of former All-Ireland winner Éanna, Rory Burke returning to the half-forward line, and first starts of the year for Sean Linnane and Cathal Mannion.
