GAA fixtures update: Kilkenny's clash with Limerick postponed due to unplayable pitch

This is the latest fixture to be postponed following a number of other games falling foul to the weather on Saturday.

Kilkenny's clash wth Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1A has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch at UPMC Nowlan Park.

The match was due to throw-in at 1.45pm at the home of the Cats but following a spell of heavy rain and a subsequent pitch inspection on Sunday monring, the surface has been deemed unplayable with a new date to be announced in due course.
