Niamh Mallon, the Galway camogie All-Star and nutritionist for the Galway senior footballers, has underlined the increasing demands being placed on Gaelic football goalkeepers under the new rules.

Jim McGuinness and Dessie Farrell are among those who have called for the substitutes limit to be increased from five to six, to reflect the extra workload on players in the middle eight particularly.
