Hastings Insurance MacHale Park is currently being assessed for storm damage ahead of Mayo’s Division 1 game against Galway on Sunday.

The Irish Examiner has learned the Castlebar venue is currently out of bounds as health and safety officers check to see if it is safe to host the Round 2 fixture. It is believed repairs will be required to a number of areas following Storm Eowyn last Friday.
