UCC-UCD Sigerson Cup clash postponed

UCC's Sigerson Cup clash with UCD has been postponed.

The round one fixture - due to be played at The Mardyke at 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon, having been originally brought forward from 5.30pm - becomes the latest sporting fixture to fall foul to the adverse weather conditions. 

The meeting of the two most prolific winners of the competition will now take place at a later date, which is yet to be confirmed.

The Mardyke fixture is not the only one to be called off, with TU Dublin v University of Galway and TUS Midlands v Maynooth University also being forced into postponements.  The game between ATU Sligo and Ulster University will proceed as planned.

St Mary’s University College v Queen’s University (throw-in, 2pm) and the game between ATU Galway and University of Limerick (throw-in, 7pm) will also go ahead on Wednesday.

DCU DÉ v MTU Kerry will now take place on Friday at 5pm in DCU, while the game between ATU Donegal and MTU Cork will also take place on Friday evening with time and venue to be confirmed.
