Date and venue set for Sarsfields’ All-Ireland Club SHC semi-final against Slaughtneil

Sarsfields’ All-Ireland Club SHC semi-final against Slaughtneil of Derry has been fixed for Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge on Sunday, December 15.

The other semi-final, between Loughrea and Leinster champions Na Fianna, will take place at FBD Semple Stadium, also on Sunday December 15.

The clash of Sars and Slaughtneil will throw in at 1.30pm, with Loughrea and Na Fianna getting underway in Thurles at 3.30pm. Both games will be televised live on TG4.

First-time Munster champions Sars are bidding to become the first Cork side to reach the All-Ireland club decider since Newtownshandrum fell to Portumna on St Patrick’s Day 2006.

Their Derry opponents have fallen at the All-Ireland semi-final stage on four occasions since 2017.
