The Munster club intermediate hurling semi-final between Cashel King Cormacs and Abbeydorney opened with a bizarre own point by the Tipperary side.
From the throw-in, Oisín O'Donoghue fired over what the commentators on Clubber TV initially thought was a superb score. It would have been had O'Donoghue been facing the Kerry club's goal rather than his own. Cashel goalkeeper Johnny Walsh cut a bemused figure as he watched his teammate put their opponents ahead.

30 seconds later, a Cashel player - this time David McGrath - levelled the scores. At this point, the commentators realised something was not quite right with the opening point.
Cashel eventually on to win by eight points. Though, with 15 minutes to play, it appeared that first half error could be costly. Abbeydorney, the Kerry senior champions who had beaten Waterford's Brickey Rangers in the quarter-final, led by two points with a quarter hour to play. It was O'Donoghue who made amends, scoring the goal which took Cashel from two down to one ahead. They didn't look back, putting their foot on the gas to win 3-16 to 1-14.
Cashel will play Cork champions Watergrasshill, victors over Clare's Wolfe Tones on Saturday, in the final.
