Leitrim GAA appoint Steven Poacher as Senior Football manager

Letirm GAA have announced that Steven Poacher has been appointed as the Senior Football manager for 2025 after the controversial departure of Mickey Graham after two weeks at the helm.
This is the first inter-county management role for the Down native who has an impressive CV having worked previously with Carlow and Roscommon as well as coaching and managing at all underage inter-county levels from U15 to U21 with Down.
Donegal native Anthony McGrath joins the management team as performance coach and selector. McGrath has coached Donegal at minor, U21 and senior level winning the Anglo Celt Cup. He also managed Queen's University in teh Sigerson Cup and been involved in successful campaigns with Ballybay and Slaughtneil at club level.
Daniel St Ledger will join as coach. A former Carlow senior footballer, St Ledger represented Leinster in the interprovincial series and managed St Sylvester's in Dublin for the last three years.
Ryan Jones is also joining the team as coach and selector. Jones coached Leitrim Gaels this year and also coached last year's Leitrim U20 side.
Poacher was given approval from the Management Committee this morning and is subject to ratification at the next meeting of the Leitrim GAA County Committee.
