Glanmire GAA will ply their trade in the Seandún division from 2025.

The football outfit had been competing in the Imokilly division up to and including 2024, but will now join the city contingent from next year.

Their proposed move to Seandún was given the green light at a recent Cork county board meeting.

A county board statement on the matter read: "Following submissions of views from various stakeholders, the application from the Glanmire Football Club to join the Seandun Division from 2025 was passed by County Committee."

The club's Intermediate 'A' side are in county semi-final action this weekend, where they clash with West Cork outfit Gabriel Rangers.
