Neil McManus can see the way forward. For Antrim, for Ulster, for hurling. As a member of the Hurling Development Committee, he knows where they must start. He also knows what needs to change.

“Call a spade a spade, sometimes the people in charge of Gaelic games in counties don't have any interest in hurling and they schedule fixtures with no thought towards the development of hurling at all,” he said, speaking at a media briefing in Croke Park to announce a newly advertised position of National Head of Hurling.
