BEFORE a ball was kicked in Cork’s third tier Premier IFC, Kilshannig were regarded as one of the strong favourites to go all the way. The comprehensive 3-10 to 1-8 victory over Macroom in tricky conditions Saturday in Kanturk will do little to dissuade that growing sense of belief around their campaign to go senior.
With six points from their three games, they proceed directly to the competition semi final in a month’s time, where they will meet the winners of Uibh Laoire and Bantry Blues.
