Former Leitrim coach and Mayo U21 manager Mike Solan has been put forward to be the new Longford senior football boss.

Ballaghaderreen man Solan is currently in charge of Sligo club Tourlestrane. He guided his native Mayo to an U21 All-Ireland title in 2016 and had been shortlisted for the senior position in 2018.
