Tánaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin has welcomed the news that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has backed the £300 million redevelopment of Casement Park in Belfast.

According to a report in The Times on Tuesday, Starmer told UEFA he will push for a bailout to allow Northern Ireland to host matches in the 2028 European Football Championship.
