The All-Ireland hurling final weather forecast: Bring a raincoat

The Croke Park area on Sunday will be damp, drizzly and overcast for the All-Ireland hurling final according to Met Eireann.
"There might be a few heavy bursts but generally speaking rainfall won't be hugely significant," said forecaster Siobhán Ryan.
"It looks like quite an overcast picture. The winds will be quite light, no more than moderate south-southwest in speed and direction. Temperatures will probably be a little below average around 17 degrees. It's going to be quite humid.
"It's just a bit disappointing in terms of sunshine and the cloud base may be a bit low. Rainfall doesn't look hugely significant but at the same time, it's a day to wear a raincoat rather than bring an umbrella."
A "good bit of rain" is expected around Croke Park early on Saturday but that will have cleared up by the afternoon.
"Probably from around 2pm on Saturday, it's basically dry. It's really those daylight hours where the low cloud moves in and you get that damp drizzly weather. There's time enough for the conditions to dry up a little bit even though there is rain ahead of the match."
