Eighteen years on since they exchanged heated words on the field and almost five since Kieran Donaghy became Armagh coach, Paul Hearty hasn’t met the Kerry man.

Not because his in-your-face celebrations after his 2006 All-Ireland quarter-final goal upset the then-Armagh goalkeeper so much that they couldn’t have a laugh about it now. No, they just haven’t crossed paths.
