Brian Lohan spoke of Clare being sick and tired of losing the same games but David Fitzgerald didn’t put any onus on having to beat Kilkenny at the third of asking in an All-Ireland semi-final.

A third victory over the Cats this season including the Division 1 final, the Banner knew they were capable of winning this game or, as Lohan said, thought they were “better” than their opponents.
