The Cork GAA executive was forced to defer this week’s planned Special Convention in order to avoid contravening rule.

A special convention was scheduled to take place during Tuesday’s behind-closed-doors Cork county board meeting to deal with proposed amendments to county bye-laws concerning term limits for all officer and management committee members, restrictions on members moving between officerships, and bringing the composition of the County Competitions Control Committee in line with Divisional CCCs.
