'Ground to make up' for Cork football, county board meeting hears

A “significant” debate on the state of Cork football took place during Tuesday’s behind-closed-doors Cork county board meeting, with the executive conceding that there is “ground to make up”.
The debate took in the disappointing exits of the Cork football teams across senior, U20, and minor this year, and why the county was not more competitive at the latter two underage grades.
