All-Ireland football quarter-finals: assessing the final eight

We're down to the business end of the championship after the weekend action.
All-Ireland football quarter-finals: assessing the final eight

CONTENDERS: Dublin's Con O'Callaghan, centre, with, clockwise from top left, Rian O'Neill (Armagh), Oísin Gallen (Donegal), Daire Cregg (Roscommon) and Sean O'Shea (Kerry)

Dublin v Galway

Formlines: The lesson of the 2023 SFC championship was that Dublin timed their run perfectly. For 2024, they have strived to do similar. This game comes just over 150 days since they were beaten by Monaghan in the opening round of the league. Since then, they’ve made a league final, won a 14th consecutive Leinster title, enjoyed a training camp abroad and topped their group. Building nicely.
