The Neale man doesn’t envisage Mayo’s mindset changing next weekend from what it was in Dr Hyde Park, even if the forthcoming game is straight knock-out.

For the second year in a row, Mayo must tackle the gauntlet of three games in as many weekends to reach an All-Ireland semi-final and Tommy Conroy hopes last season’s experience stands to them.

Mayo defeated Galway in Salthill in last year’s All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final before being blown away in the second half of the quarter-final proper by Dublin a week later.
