Louth manager Ger Brennan says it's 'highly unlikely' that attacker Ciaran Downey will play again this year due to a knee injury.

Brennan confirmed the news at a media briefing this afternoon ahead of Sunday week's All-Ireland SFC group decider against Kerry.
