The long weekend saw a truncated round of action in Division 1 of the Red FM Cork Hurling League. With Blackrock not playing Glen Rovers until the week after next, table-toppers Charleville had a chance to extend their lead when they took on Na Piarsaigh at home on Thursday evening.
