All 15,000 terrace tickets for Sunday week’s Clare-Limerick Munster senior hurling final in Thurles that were made available online this morning sold out in 15 minutes.
A ticketing source confirmed the €35 for adults and €30 for students/old age pensioners tickets for the Killinan and City Ends for the third consecutive provincial decider between the counties have been snapped up having gone on sale at 11am.
The tickets for the Kinane and Ryan Stands, meanwhile, will be distributed to clubs from the participating counties via their county boards.
In 2022, a 43,112 crowd attended the previous Munster SHC final between Clare and Limerick in FBD Semple Stadium and it is hoped the capacity will be increased slightly. Last year’s showdown in TUS Gaelic Grounds attracted 43,756.
Already, the hallowed Thurles venue has catered for 43,972 when Cork travelled in great numbers for their last Munster SHC round clash against Tipperary earlier this month.
