Cork’s 18-point Munster SHC Round 4 victory over Tipperary in Thurles on Sunday was the most watched show on RTÉ2 so far this year, attracting a considerable average viewing audience of 407,000, representing a 50% share.

After their previous three provincial championship games were shown on GAAGO, the figure for the clash watched by a Cork-dominant bumper 43,972 crowd in FBD Semple Stadium was a massive pull for the national broadcaster.
