The top of Division 1 of the Red FM Cork Senior Hurling League is quite congested after the weekend’s action with only 3 points separating Charleville in first spot and Carrigtwohill in fifth place.

Charleville are back on top after they defeated Glen Rovers by 0-25 to 0-20 in Charleville on Friday evening to make it 5 wins out of 6. Killian Cagney was their scorer in chief as he pilfered 0-9 with David Forde also on form in hitting 0-5 while Tim Hawe and Alan Dennehy both notched 0-3. Dean Brosnan was the main man for a depleted Glen, scoring 0-7 while Evan Murphy and Simon Kennefick both clipped 0-4.
