Leinster Council chairman Derek Kent has acknowledged that this year's provincial championship 'wasn't alive and kicking with supporters', identifying this as a clear 'red flag' for the province.

Writing in his match programme notes for the Leinster football final between holders Dublin, chasing a provincial 14-in-a-row, and Louth, Wexford man Kent suggested that supporters 'did not have the same desire to attend our games' this season.
