Derry look like hot favourites to advance to the final of the Christy Ring Cup after they picked up a 2-22 to 2-13 win over London at Owenbeg today, leaving them needing a win over bottom-of-the-table Sligo next week to be sure of a Croke Park decider.

Christy McNaughton’s goal in the 60th minute gave them the impetus to score six of the remaining eight points of the match.
