Kerry's Okunbor and Conway to miss Championship campaigns through injury

Stefan Okunbor and Shane Conway will play no further part in their respective Kerry team’s championship campaigns

Kerry's Stefan Okunbor will have another spell on the sidelines

Stefan Okunbor has pulled out of Kerry's warm weather training camp and subsequently any upcoming games for club or county after he picked up another injury to continue his injury hampered season. The midfielder returned to grass in February after a long spell out due to a groin injury but will find himself back on the physio's table once more.

Okunbor has been injured for most of the league season and further aggravated that injury during a warm weather training in Portugal. The injury means Okunbor will struggle to play with club Na Gaeil in championship. However, it is rumoured if fit he could feature with Na Gaeil in the SFC in September.
