Derry defender Padraig McGrogan is out for the season after it was confirmed he ruptured a cruciate ligament in training.
The wing-back, who started in their shock Ulster SFC defeat against Donegal last month, will miss the remainder of their All-Ireland series campaign as well as the club season with Newbridge.
