Tipperary’s defeat to Limerick last Sunday was the fourth highest in the history of the Munster SHC round-robin.
Seeing as how Waterford’s 20-point hammering to Limerick in 2019 followed the 18-point loss to Tipperary and Cork later beat them by 13, they obviously didn’t recover from those record losses. However, that same year Clare bounced back from an 18-point shellacking at the hands of Limerick to see off Cork by five in Ennis seven days later.
