James Horan: Are we giving a referee an impossible job?

The former Mayo boss suggests football referees must be given more help.

Intercounty referees require more assistance during a game, according to former Mayo player and manager James Horan.

Speaking on the Irish Examiner Gaelic football podcast, Horan said referee Conor Lane had a near-impossible task on Sunday for the enthralling Division 1 final between Derry and Dublin.
