Donegal captain Paddy McBrearty has been ruled out of the Division 2 league final versus Armagh this week after sustaining a muscle injury against Meath last weekend.

McBrearty limped off midway through the first half in Ballybofey on Saturday night. Donegal also lost Ryan McHugh in the same match due to a shoulder injury. Speaking at the Ulster Championship launch in Belfast, manager Jim McGuinness confirmed that the Kilcar man will not feature in Croke Park this Sunday.
