Roscommon manager Davy Burke has launched a staunch defence of Cathal Heneghan, who was suspended last week following an incident with Kerry's Jason Foley in the league fixture between the sides.

While Kerry manager Jack O'Connor has confirmed Foley did not sustain the injury that has sidelined him in that incident.
